Hi, I'm Zach, and welcome to The Rational Nomad.

I love travel because it introduces us to incredible new experiences that help us to expand the boundaries of who we are and what we want out of life. I'm the type of person who seeks out unique, off the beaten track adventures that are full of unexpected twists, because I think they make for some of the best memories.

I have always been an avid explorer, but starting in 2022 I set my sights on slowly circling the globe on my motorcycle, taking the time to get to know as many tiny corners of our world as possible. I created this blog as a gift to my future self - a place to keep my photos and memories organized and coherent. That said, I hope that it can also offer you some insight and inspiration for your next adventure, or at the very least keep you briefly entertained!
